You Are Right, and You Are Wrong

Oh, the greatest country on Earth, the inimitable United States, the promised land, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountains majesty! Oh yes. Your bosom swells, you feel the opportunities abound and if you have ever visited another country you have a testimony of just how good the majority of Americans have it.

Our nature is to share good things when we find them. We will share good food, fine books, fun games, curious websites, the gospel . . . anything that brings us a lasting happiness. From this avenue of thought we conclude that we would want to share our country, too.

First, I'm going to give you the bleeding heart. It's a pitch that works because most of us are able to feel empathy.

Aziz and his family live in Syria. We all know Syria. It's an awful and wartorn, brutalized country suffering from a civil war where we don't want either side winning because they're both bloodthirsty zealots with nothing but the worst in mind for a country that would be pivotal in a global conflict. The fighting there is worse than we are told, it's worse than we've experienced, and it's worse than we can imagine.

Aziz is a refugee. He lives in a squalid camp among thousands of people in a similar situation. They are all dependent on the charity of international organizations, and the aid of international workers and few of these people and organizations actually care. And if they do care, they can't do it for long because it's too costly on them personally. It isn't long before Aziz and his family become just another face in the crowd.

His wife is ill and she cannot get the care she needs, his kids are too skinny and malnourished. Well then why in the world are they suffering like this when across two seas is the land of plenty? Where mom can get her treatment, and the kids can eat, and we can save these wretched refugees? Why? Bring them in by the boatload! Let's save them!

Are you moved? Motivated? Can you see past your feelings, or do you just want to get them over here so they can be saved? It's easy to declare but where are you? Just voting, or are you physically participating?

Now I am going to give you the conservative approach. It is a pitch that requires you to think past your emotions, and your anger, and your sense of justice because that is required, and will always be required to make good decisions.

The plight of Aziz is heartbreaking, and if it's in our power to do something then we are obligated to do something. In his country and by virtue of his government, culture, and religion his morals, values, and principles contrast in alarming ways with ours. We are in a system that has allowed illegal immigration for decades, so it is no longer requisite for an immigrant to learn our language, adopt our culture, and integrate into our system. Instead they have established their own communities, live under false identities, and are often forced to break the laws of the land because their governments and ours seldom cooperate.

Thus the homogeny of our culture and communities is deeply compromised. Do not deny it. You can witness it.

Imagine then that we bring in not just Aziz, but the hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from Syria. Their religion culture, customs and language are their foundation. They have been for over a thousand years. They believe in a system of laws contradictory to American beliefs by virtue of being Syrian. They will not integrate. They will not learn our language. They will not accept our values or customs.

They will establish communities within communities as they have done throughout Europe. Every person likes being with their own, and that is magnified if you share a language. Furthermore if you share a religion. They will do this and as an issue of discrimination they will demand that Sharia courts be established among their communities.

So much has been disclosed about Islamic customs and culture that I don't have to illustrate conflicting ideology. It is obvious. Combine these differences with the politically correct culture of offense and you have the elements necessary to fundamentally destroy your culture.

The culture that allows you to express your opinion, live free and without fear of government reprisal, and which gives you the liberty to make choices and live the consequences is the culture we are talking about. The one that advocates equality of the sexes and sexualities. The culture that decries all the -isms that haunt the human race's efforts to evolve past our differences. Imagine all this being dragged back into the dark ages so that our culture is completely annihilated.

So you are right. We are obligated to help. But you are wrong because you have reacted emotionally, rather than logically. There are several solutions outside of bringing in a large population of refugees, no matter what conflict they come from. There is a process called immigration and it was put in place for a variety of important reasons, a few of which have already been covered.

The most important reason is integration. Were we the refugees and our country has done little more than let us down, push us around, murder our relatives and friends, and steal every opportunity it could from us as Americans and we could immigrate to another part of the world where these problems did not exist, we, too would be more than enthusiastic to integrate and become card-carrying citizens of that country.

Listen to your head, not your emotions.

Conservatism and Free Love

"Where is the love?" many ask when it comes to conservatism. We cannot see it although conservative doctrine is interwoven with pure love and charity toward all men and women and LGBT and children because it is out of love that conservatism teaches - "Each according to the dictates of his own conscience."

The failure of authoritarian, socialist, communist, and fascist governments comes from having the idea of love one for another and to the failure of executing love one for another. It is plain fact that the bureaucrat by virtue of the system cannot compassionately act, or out of love benefit his fellow man because his/her conscience is heavily regulated by laws and policy. She must ignore her conscience and act on the rules. This negates her compassion and makes her rather a subject of the system.

In all fairness it is not fair. Fairness would mean having every opportunity to make your own life grand, and being imbued with the ambition to make it so. But ambition is literally sucked out of the majority if their necessities are already being met.

Let us present a case:

Scott is an ambitious fellow who has a knack for fixing damaged cars. He has 3 children with his wife and absolutely refuses to use the system to feed or care for his family. He's in a conundrum because A.) the kids need food, clothing, and a warm place to live and B.) he is in a town he loves and does not want to leave that has a weak economy.

His solution is to buck up, man up, start a business out of nothing and use profit to invest in his enterprise. He sacrifices sleep, time, shoe leather, and time with family to get his business running. Today he runs a successful shop making six figures monthly in a depressed town in Eastern Idaho. Because he was highly motivated by the need to feed his family, provide insurance, and give them a home Scott is an example of how America ought to be.

On to the welfare state:

Nate is a stay-at-home dad who has plenty of free time while his wife takes a few minutes here and there to care for their three children. They are on food stamps, so Nate doesn't worry about feeding his family. He's on unemployment for six months out of the year because it's an option. They are currently manipulating the system to provide disability by claiming back and joint issues that could prevent Nate from working. Their housing costs are minimal because the government pays for nearly the entire rent bill, and utilities are the same.

They've been on this path for years and neither person has had any reason to do anything productive or beneficial for their lives. They have zero ambition because they have no need for ambition. Ambition, goals, and drive have been stolen from them by the system.

Thus I present to you the light and darkness of modern America.

Socialism and all its versions have the idea that we need to love on another and act out of compassion one for another and I agree. We should. But act with compassion as a community and never as a government entity. If your neighbor is suffering in some way, and you can help then you should help. If you do not help then that is your choice and it should be respected. You should not be taxed to help out the less fortunate because out of love you should help as much as you can at a personal level. That is what conservatism believes.

That is what most churches use tithing for. You voluntarily pay a tithe on your income, and that tithe that you have voluntarily paid is used to do good within the community. You should never be taxed, you should never be manipulated, and you should never be forced. Love one for another is an idea best executed at a personal level, but the system currently in place has altered man's love, and it has "waxed cold." (Matt. 24:12)

We are interested only in ourselves, and wickedly suspicious of our neighbors who we have been taught could be perverts, thieves, molesters, con men, manipulative, cold, rude, psychopathic, or even murderers!

We are taught to fear our neighbor. Every day we are presented with stories, and soundbites and articles showing us the worst of the worst. As a consequence we have lost our love and compassion for our fellow man. Socialism claims that this system was created to implement love for one another. Why should we worry about our neighbor if their suffering can be "easily" alleviated by the government? We wash our hands of this.

Conservatism answers: because the welfare state is too cumbersome to last. What happens when "Big Momma" collapses?

What happens when the food stamps stop coming? When the healthcare costs are so astronomical only the super elite can afford it? When your housing can no longer be paid for or maintained, and you have spent your life dependent on these systems, which have imbued you with a feeling of entitlement?

If you are like any and all persons throughout history who have experienced this kind of collapse then the answer is - you lose your mind. Rather than banding together to support one another you steal, assault, abandon, burn, and yes - kill to get what you need. You are human and are driven by your body's needs. Your public education has never helped, and you've never needed to engage your intellect so you are out for number one. So much for loving one another.  So much for the great utopia.

And yet the left claims to love you. Anyone who truly loves you would not set you up for failure, or oppression. They would give you the protection you need to act by your conscience and make your own decisions. They would provide tough love and allow you to grow. They would construct a nation where opportunity could abound for everyone able and admonish you to serve one another. That is the love that conservatism teaches, and it is the only way to build a successful civilization.

Deny Your Denial

Ladies, gentlemen, sinners.

We live in a Republic. Take 12 minutes to reorient yourself to the differences below:

Once finished you know how reality works with the instituted governments of flawed human beings. You can look even deeper into what is going on today. We need to get to the point where we cannot deny that the human race makes the same mistakes over and over again.

They establish a secure order. This order grows. It attracts and creates wealth and prosperity. That wealth and prosperity helps grow conveniences and technology. Technology, security, the ease of convenience, and prosperity create free time. With free time people have opportunity to think themselves into ever worsening and malicious beliefs.

Soon wealth and these bad thinking habits combine. The secure order expands its reach into places it is unwelcome, exploits and corrupts within and without, and creates its own weaknesses in its foundation - a people without principle, morals, values, or sense of civic obligation. It creates a people dependent upon the system and extremely weak in character. They cannot shoulder the responsibility and obligation of governance because they are so weak and corrupt. These prima donnas are every murderous, corrupt, insane emperor and monarch throughout recorded history, whose advent precedes the fall.

And guess what? Every single society that fell never thought it would happen to them. The fallen never thought they would repeat history. The fallen never believed that the same systems and practices that had failed throughout history would ever fail on their watch.  Every member of the fallen thought they were smarter and more advanced than their predecessors. Honestly, it's laughable because every single human being is human and will repeat these mistakes. Period.

Look this is not new information. The point of this post is not to educate or inform. It is to ask you to stop denying the truth in an effort to avoid it. You can't avoid it, repeating history is your nature. Your entire life is as I've just described, all around you as you walk, and talk and travel and shop is comparable to every empire in the last stage of its existence. It will collapse. It will end. Your denial is your death because the Oligarchy is established and has been for a long long time, right there for you to see.

Feel that nagging at the back of your mind? "Can't be true. Conspiracy theory. Brush it off. If that's true then  . . ." Tell that voice to shut it because you are on the cusp of breaking the mental cycle of self-deception and false belief.

Welcome to reality.

One of The Worst Words

The biggest threat to our individual liberty and rights is summed up in one word; discrimination. Its use has become perverted and leveraged against the idea of America and her laws. Worse still discrimination is being used to justify damaging and destructive lifestyles by making such things legal, and thereby permissible. But it is much more subversive than that.

By ruling in favor of "anti-discrimination" the courts have opened the door to justify, and legalize nearly any behavior or lifestyle. Worse still these plaintiffs follow the "give a mouse a cookie" analogy. Give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk. Give a mouse a glass of milk he will ask you for a straw. When he's finished he'll ask you for a napkin. Pretty soon you'll be placing one lifestyle above another until anti-discrimination rulings and legislation create an environment where discrimination becomes the stick by which nearly all decisions are measured.

"In order to obey the law," says the business owner/employee/policeman, "I must discriminate so I don't discriminate."

That's what we call an oxymoron (emphasis on the moron), or paradox. The two ideas cannot coexist, no matter how many rules you write around it.

Laws passed or rulings made that give one person or race, or preference, or identity, or gender, or sexual orientation power or preference over another instantly creates inequality. It does not resolve inequality. It makes inequality worse.

When the idea of inequality and discrimination become agitated within a society, and the situation feels like inequality has grown worse, and discrimination has grown worse, society suffers. The children become raised in a lie that tells them to be angry, hateful, vengeful, and easily offended.

A civilization that teaches this to its children is literally on its last legs. It will all be over soon. And its collapse will be unparalleled throughout history in its enormity and horror. A people who are angry, hateful, vengeful, and easily offended cannot shoulder the responsibilities and commitment it takes to manage a government. They have not the character, the strength, the core of principles to take on the weight of government. Corruption reigns and the people suffer.

But the question must be asked; is this attitude and stupidity simply the consequence of having an advanced civilization, or is it engineered? Are we being taught by example, by media, by subtle and long shifts in culture, and by the erosion of morals and ethics, and by slow and steady embracing of evil philosophies? All you have to do is look, really look with a strong sense of right and wrong and you will see that the shift is not accidental. It is deliberate. You can witness it all throughout history.

When the French in 1789 felt inspired to establish a free society their initial efforts were productive and promising. Soon their fear of reprisal by the aristocracy and the poor alike (the poor were steadily starving to death) led to finger pointing, and blaming, and fleeing from the responsibilities they had taken upon themselves. France's people already had a weakened character and were effeminate and emotionally immature.

Within months violence not only erupted, but became the answer to everything. Soon France became one of the most dangerous places in the world to be. This environment became ground rich for the rule of the most wicked of men including Maximilien Robespierre, and later Napoleon Bonaparte, who shook the world with his warfare.

They glorified mass murderers like Jean-Paul Marat and vilified the propaganda of Jacque Louis David. These murderers thrived on the emotionally unstable, and the easily offended. They pushed for legislation and powers that would place the fearful and self-centered above others in the population.

The people worshiped the wicked, selfish, immoral, and unsteady and have suffered ever since.

In the U.S. the laws and rulings in favor of discrimination laws empower the unsteady, weak, immoral, impractical, and selfish. Discrimination legislation and court rulings undermine strong foundations of civilization which have always kept society free, prosperous, strong, virtuous, and a power to be contended with by giving unfair voice and influence to persons who have only their self-interest and agenda in mind. This is why you are constantly berated by news and posts and coverage of stories that promote a lopsided view of racism, discrimination, and "inequality." Some pernicious groups want to strip you of your freedom of choice, and of your freedom to think for yourselves to cause a destabilization of society.

A fearful and easily offended population is so much easier to manipulate and control, and you are being suckered right into it. Fight on the side of forgiveness. Being offended will never help you, but will cause you to suffer and undermine a free society. Discrimination exists, but it should never be a subject of laws and government. Governments are never benevolent. They are a necessary evil to protect your rights. They will shift your views and perspectives to gain more power, and give you less and less in return. Do not get sucked in by it. Choose to be better.

No Left, Right, Up, Down, or In-Between

Snap!

There are values and principles the general population seems to be ignorant of, are completely ignoring, or have lost from their personal natures, altogether. These principles need a reawakening because we are destroying ourselves, our country, and our world. We are not "in danger" of this great destruction - it is upon us.

Having ingrained these particular principles into my subconscious for 36 agonizing, trying years I can make snap decisions about what is right, and what is wrong, about relationships, self-actualization, about rhetoric, legislation, and campaigns.

I will share these principles with you later.

Open Thy Mouth

Speak that I may know thee, said a great philosopher. Ye shall know them by their fruits, said another. Frogs in the slowly heating water is what we are. The world is on fire, and we are up to our eyeballs in filth, corruption, self-deception, and degradation. We are moving backwards at such a fast pace the blur in our peripheral looks like it's propelling us forward. It is difficult to look at, and because of our nature, it is easy to ignore. Because of technology, it is easy to ignore. Because of the grand design of our media and the nature of our leadership it is easy to ignore.

Purposes

In November all but one goes home, so any opinion on the candidates in the race of 2016 become immediately outdated, uninteresting, and irrelevant. Rather I will present values and principles upon which to judge and measure nearly every aspect of your life - from family to laws, from self to state, right and wrong, and decisions for the next life.

Bio

Since everything must be peer-reviewed, credentials drawn and experience summarised in order to create (the illusion of) authority may I present mine.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing. I am a business manager in a "conservative" state where every election is as predictable as the sunrise. I am a reluctant member of the Republican party but disagree with their perceptions of conservatism, power, money, campaigns, etc., etc., etc. I have been affiliated with conservative groups like the John Birch Society, but I've never been a member.

I am a student of history, my studies going back millennia. I enjoy ancient history through the time of Henry II of Britain because of what it reveals about us as a race. I will also share these insights with you. I am a student of the French Revolution not because it was a success (it was not), but because of what it reveals about a people in the age of decadence, about the inevitable and devastating division between the rich and poor, and how that relates to us TODAY.

I am religious. I have great knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ which is beneficial in this respect because it involves us as a race. I have been a missionary, dedicated to two years of teaching, preaching and baptising on behalf of my faith. During those years, I gained enormous and potentially life-saving insights into the scriptures, into human nature, and into ancient history.

Goal

The goal is to talk about conservatism as it applies to the American ideal, as it applies to where we were, where we are, and where we are going. I will talk about things no one else will for fear of retaliation, for fear of losing their jobs, their respect, their friends or family. "He that loveth these more than me . . ." kind of thing. Because there are truths that transcend relationships, laws, and self. These apply to a life well-lived and a huge part of that are decisions regarding your government.

Government rarely helps. More often it hinders, more often it stifles, more often it ruins. We have but to explore the history of empires to witness government's bitter fruit, and disasterous failures.

It All Depends

On you. Yeah I've heard that before! Well, it does. Every day you make hundreds, if not thousands of decisions that affect your 'self', those around you, and in essence, those around those who are around you. You are a small stone thrown into a large pond a billion times during your life, and every ripple has an effect. The comforting thing? You have all the control in the universe about how those ripples affect your world.

Step 1:

Give a crap. Curb stomp your apathy. Every day that you can, curb stomp that useless state of being. It was apathy that destroyed nations, it will be apathy that destroys ours. Apathy to principles, values, right, and wrong have only one consequence; devastation.
